Are you eating a balanced meal?

Do you know what a balanced meal should consist of?  The 6 things that constitute a balanced meal are:

Protein, Vit B12, a whole grain, a digestive aidleafy greens and a vegetable.  A sample meal could be:  A piece of chicken, which would be your protein and vit B12; a spinach salad with a fresh lemon dressing, which would be your leafy green and a digestive aid; broccoli, which would be your vegetable; and quinoa, which would be your whole grain.   Very simple!  You could even put all of it together and toss it all in a bowl instead of eating everything separately.  It’s so simple to eat clean!  And you can start having fun with it by adding different herbs of your liking and playing around with different flavors you never knew existed!  Stay tuned for recipes and more ideas on how to eat to nourish your body!

  2. I love the balanced meal approach. I like others am a creature of habit. I have a hard time breaking routine. My routine that I so enjoy. I really enjoy LOL is my morning cup of Java.
