Frothy, rich, creamy cup of java

A miraculous morning coffee additive

In moderation, organic coffee can provide phytonutrients, powerful antioxidants, to make it a healthy and beneficial drink to add to your diet.  The scary thing is how much crap is added to coffee drinks to turn it into one of the most unhealthy drinks on the planet.

When you add in copious amounts of sugar, hydrogenated oils, trans-fat crud, your little cup of creamy joe turns into a hormone disrupting, poisonous, inflammatory cup of creamy poison.

Coffee lovers hear me out.  I know you look forward to having that warm, creamy cup of goodness to start your day, and I wouldn’t take it out of your diet like a lot of nutritionists would.  I just want to make it healthier for you so you truly can start your day off right.

It’s been the rage the last few years to add coconut oil or butter to ones coffee.  It took me a while to get on that train.  Why?  Because I don’t like coconut anything.  So I stopped drinking coffee because I went off dairy too so I didn’t know what to add into my coffee.  And the dairy-free creamers really should be called the Chemical Sh*tstorm Creamers.  They’re nothing but full of crud that just does more damage than good.

So one morning I just decided to add in 1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil and mix it with my ninja mixer.  Wow it turned out so creamy!  I really couldn’t believe it.  And it wasn’t too coconutty for me.  It instead had a slight tropical taste to it!.  But it just wasn’t sweet enough for me so I added in 1/2 t. coconut sugar and 1/8 t vanilla.  That was the perfect sweetness for me. Some days I don’t need any added sweetness, and then there are other days that I do so I just listen to my body and put in what I’m feeling.

Look how creamy it gets!

So I’m pleasantly surprised how much I like this and I think you will too.

Coconut oil also add fatty acids that help improve energy, blood health, and fat-burning processes.  It also helps stabilize your blood sugar to lessen the chance of a caffeine crash.

Coconut oil also can be creamed up into any cup of tea!
