Quinoa…oh how I love thee. It nourishes me with protein and all the amino acids to make it a complete protein! You can eat it hot, warm, or cold. You can eat it alone, with veggies, or with fruit. You can eat it in a salad, or burritos, or make it into a pancake. So what are you waiting for??? I decided to wrap mine in a yummy flaxseed, whole wheat tortilla with broccoli, tomatoes, and minced ginger. Then drizzled some extra virgin olive oil and a dash of salt to flavor it up.
Soooooo how do you eat your quinoa??
What a clever use for quinoa. I usually mix it with rise or a pasta. Loving how nutritious it is.
I love how nutritious it is too! Thanks for stopping by!

My kids love it with salmon and asparagus all mixed in a bowl. Yummy… although I always cook mine in chicken broth. I like the taste better.
Hi Kacey!
I’m so impressed with the way your kids eat! That’s awesome.
Meals like this always leave you feeling charged up and happy 🙂 Love your blog!

I have not tried quinoa. Is it pronounced “keen-owha”?
This dish has me wanting to try it!
Hi Richard!
It is pronounced “keen-wa”. You’ll love it. Many ways to eat it. It’s a complete protein meaning you don’t need to add chicken or any other protein to complete the meal.
Thanks,
Julie
I’m a relative newcomer to quinoa but I love it in salads. The burritos look rather good too.
